Lori Souter, the founder of The Hachie House, has been creating and crafting since she was a young girl. One of Lori’s first memories as a crafter is hand stamping designs on the outgoing family bills. As a teenager, Lori fondly remembers crafting in the Summer with ceramics and macramé.

Her creativity was further expressed by decorating her school book covers with her hand doodles. Holiday markets were also another avenue for her to create and share her love for crafting with others.  She would display and sell her handmade Christmas creations at events held to benefit organizations like her family church. These early efforts were just the beginning of her exploring other types of crafting and showing others the fun it can be.
