In the Fall of 2018, The Hatchie House was “created”!  Originally built in 1994 as a “Mother-in-Law” home to the Historic home located on the picturesque Main Street, it has now been lovingly bestowed with the “nickname” of our Historic Waxahachie town!

When visiting The Hatchie House, you are just a few blocks from our Historic square where the County Courthouse sits.  Nationally known for its unique architecture, the Courthouse will take you back to the turn of the 20th Century when Ellis County was the largest cotton producing county in the USA.  A present day visit to our city will take you back to a slower time where we strive to protect our historic heritage.

Whether you come for a class or stay with us for a day or more, we are here to promote creativity, fun, laughter, motivation, energy, friendships and most of all…… your inner artist!
